BACKGROUND AND FOUNDATION
YKC was created through the vision and initiative of Prashant Pandya, who, together with Abhisek Vyas and Dr. Sivaramakrishnan, collaborated to create the first YKC event. Following the initial success, Narayan Viswanathan and Gavin Dsouza added fresh energy and ideas to the group and became part of the core committee.
The group is ably supported by Kishore Dhabi, Mrs Dhabi, Dr Shobha Sivaramakrishnan, Shantanu Purandare and Smita Pandya, all working towards a shared goal of bringing people together through a keen interest in Bollywood singing.
MISSION AND VISION
To bring people together in the local community through the medium of Bollywood music, singing, camaraderie and cultural engagement.
To be welcoming, inclusive and give opportunities to new singers.
To become a recognised and trusted Bollywood karaoke community in Yorkshire that encourages participation, collaboration and cultural connection. YKC would like to reach out to include the wider community in Yorkshire and increase awareness.
